Southeast British Car Festival - 2018

Sept 13,14,15

The Dillard House Resort, 768 Franklin St, Dillard, GA30537

Yep!  Despite the weather threats, PMGR held Dillard 2018 as scheduled!

We had beautiful weather and a great time at this biennial, relaxing weekend in the North Georgia mountains.  Unfortunately, many folks affected by hurricane Florence were unable to attend and we hope all of them are safe and didn't suffer from the results of the storm.

As usual, it was held at The Dillard House in Dillard, GA.  This 3-day event is known for its stunning venue and warm southern hospitality.

We enjoyed travel on roads made famous by moonshiners and revenooers (Yes -- that's spelled correctly).  On Thursday evening, we watched "Crazy Rich Asians" at the Tiger Drive-In.  Some folks toured the Foxfire Museum, while others joined us for a rousing drive on the world-renowned "Tail of the Dragon".  Several investigated the beauty of the mountains on their own or participated in the many guided tours, such as to the ever-popular Wolf Mountain Winery.
On Friday evening, we had a traditional Low Country Boil.

Saturday was the British Car Show on the beautiful grounds of the Dillard House, and the Awards Banquet was the traditional and highly popular Dillard House Buffet.

The PMGR charity for 2018 is K9s For Warriors:  https://www.k9sforwarriors.org/
Thank you to all who participated in the raffles and also those who made donations to this worthy cause!
