For Sale - 1974 MGB Roadster - $14,000 obo
    My Late Father's car.  A collector's dream.  Early 1974 MGB (Built Nov 14, 1973).  Original Paint and Interior.  Rare Mirage color -- only 244 of this color were produced. The paint is good and there are only minor flaws on the interior.  Comes with a Heritage Certificate build sheet and original Owner's Manual.
    Excellent driver and needs nothing.  76,634 Original miles.  This car was originally purchased in Huntsville, AL on March 15th 1974 from Royal Motor Company.  My dad was the 4th owner of the car.  No rust or visible signs of paint work or collision repair.  This car has the original factory grease pencil markings on the hood, paint stripes on the coil springs.  Even the markings on the axle cover are visible.  Everything works including the radio.  The original Lucas fuses are still in the fuse box.  Comes with the original top, boot, and tonneau cover (Still with original factory pen markings).
   My father completed the following repairs/upgrades during the past 2 years:
*  Seat repair
*  New interior carpet installed
        *  New Wiper Motor
        *  New Wiring harness
        *  New Alternator
        *  New Starter
        *  New Ignition Relay
        *  New rubber seals
        *  New Borg & Beck Clutch kit
    This car should go to an avid car British car collector.  This is a unique opportunity to own not only an original car, but also one that is rare and in very good condition.

For Sale - 1970 MGB Roadster - $8,500 obo
1970 MGB owned by one family (father/son) before I bought it in 2019.

The original owner bought the car in the Netherlands, toured Europe and shipped to the US.  I have the original Dutch registration document and Dutch owners manual. (See photo)

Car has never been restored, but has been well maintained; an original time capsule.  Actual mileage unknown.

The good:

  • Brand New TripleXXX windshield installed!
  • Everything except the odometer works.
  • No rust.
  • Rare, split rear bumper.
  • 4-speed with Overdrive.
  • Original dual SUs.
  • Wire wheels with almost new tires.
  • Power brakes!!!
  • Front inner fender guards.
  • Original full tonneau and top in very good condition.
  • Original MG cover.
  • Original spare with cover.
  • New Pertronix distributor and 40,000 volt coil.  (Original working distributor as well)
  • New radiator, engine mounts, and fuel pump.
  • Fresh oil and filter.

The not as good:

  • Lots of dings, dents, body repairs, and panel repaints you expect on a 51 year old, unrestored car.
  • Hard starting -- runs cold for several minutes, but then it’s fine.
  • Interior is just OK.
  • Heater works, but I’ve locked the valve shut.  (Control knob needs replacing)

The weird:

  • Wacky 1970’s vintage security system that consists of battery cut-off switch behind driver’s seat and small safe in trunk.
  • Pockets on doors.
  • Side markers appear to have been added on, probably to meet US import requirements.

It is a driver quality car, definitely not a show piece, but very original in every respect.

Asking less than I have in it:  $8500 obo

For Sale - Lucas "Flame Thrower" Driving Lights

These beautiful lamps are the famous 5.76-inch Lucas SLR576 driving or spot-lamps, sometimes known as "Flamethrowers." They are the lamps that won the Monte Carlo rally when used on Minis, provided elegant illumination on Rolls-Royce Silver Clouds and Jaguar XK 140 and 150, Mark I, Mark VIIM, VIII and IX, and dressed up the front of Austin-Healeys, Triumph TR2-3-4-5-250, MGA, MGB, Magnette, MG-TD and TF, and so many other British cars. They were sold as options on many of these cars, and thousands were sold as accessory lamps in the 1950s through 1970s.

They have LUCAS MADE IN ENGLAND and other inscriptions on the thick glass lenses and LUCAS SLR 576 MADE IN ENGLAND stamped on the backs. The bodies are mirror-polished chrome-plated brass, not the inferior steel version sold elsewhere. They are truly show quality.

For Sale - Miata Seats & Roll Bar

Miata seats were removed from my MGB and replaced with Fiero Seats.  These seats are in good condition and include the seat rails and mounting hardware, which are also in good operating condition.  The rails bolt right into the MGB mounting holes.  $350

The roll bar is like new with some minor paint rubs.  It fits with the Miata seats but not with the Fiero seats.  Make an offer.

For Sale - TPI Wire Wheel Hubs - $400 (Special price for PMGR Members only)

Complete set of 8 TPI wire wheel hubs, never been installed.  I bought these about 20 years ago to go on my 1966 MGB GT but have since decided that I would put bolt on Minilites on the GT.  The only wire wheels that I would buy would be Dayton's and they are really pricey.

For Sale - 1974 MGB-GT & 1964 Spitfire - $3,000 & $800 OBO
1974 MGB-GT has 64k on it. I was driving it until I got divorced and life changed. It's been in the barn for 35 years and I don't think I will get back to it.  So, here it is. The tires are shot but everything else is there, a bit dusty but not rusty.  I have a clean title in my name. $3,000

1964 Triumph Spitfire, I got this from a friend of mine 25 or 30 years ago.  I was told that the engine was balanced and blueprinted.  It sat out in the weather for a little while and the floor pan is rusted.  After I got it, it has been in the barn.  It's all there except there is no top.  The VIN tag is hard to read and I don't have a title for it.  I do have another Spitfire with a readable VIN tag and clean title that we could switch around but I would like to get a bit more for that. $800 (no title).

For Sale - MG-TD/TF Luggage Rack - $60

Custom made oak and metal luggage rack for a MGTD or MGTF with disk wheels.  This rack uses the lugs on the spare tire...just remove the hub cap and bolt it on.  It has eyelets so the luggage can be bungee corded on.  It is sized to handle a large bag.  When you get to the destination, just remove it and replace the hub cap.  I have converted my TD to wire wheels, so can no longer use it.  Price $60.
